Introduction

Welcome to PlayAll ("we", "our", or "us"). PlayAll is an Android audio and video player that allows users to play local media files and discover curated Trending Videos through external links. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and your rights.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect or require:

• User accounts or login information
• Name, phone number, email address, or contacts
• Messages, call logs, or precise location data
• Personal media files (audio/video are never uploaded)

2. Information We May Access

• Local Media Access: Used only to scan and play audio/video files stored on your device.
• Trending Content Metadata: Titles, thumbnails, and video links fetched from our backend to display trending videos.
• Basic App & Device Info: Non-personal technical data (app version, OS version, crash logs) for stability and debugging.
• Notifications: Used to notify users about newly added or trending content.

3. Online Content & External Links

PlayAll may display YouTube or other third-party video links in the Trending section.

• Videos are not hosted by PlayAll.
• When you tap a video, it opens in the official YouTube app or browser.
• Playback, ads, and data collection are governed by YouTube’s policies.

PlayAll does not track what you watch on external platforms.

4. Firebase & Cloud Services

PlayAll uses Firebase services for app functionality:

• Firebase Realtime Database / Firestore: Stores trending video metadata (title, thumbnail, link).
• Firebase Cloud Storage: Stores preview images uploaded by the app owner.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Sends push notifications about trending or new content.

No personally identifiable user data is stored in Firebase.

5. Permissions

PlayAll may request the following permissions:

• READ_MEDIA_AUDIO / READ_MEDIA_VIDEO — to play local media
• INTERNET — to fetch trending content and open external links
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — to show trending alerts (Android 13+)

Permissions are requested only when needed and can be denied by the user.

6. Ads

PlayAll may display advertisements using third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob).

7. Data Security

We do not store personal user data. Reasonable security measures are used to protect backend services and prevent unauthorized access.

8. Children’s Privacy

PlayAll does not target children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Your Rights

Since PlayAll does not maintain personal user profiles, most privacy rights are exercised directly through third-party services (e.g., YouTube, Google Ads).

10. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when features change. The updated date will always be shown at the top of this page.
